Exit Interview

Any student with a Federal Perkins Loan should complete an Exit Interview, before leaving the university, as a requirement of the U.S. Department of Education. We have also included our University long-term loans as part of the mandatory Exit Interview process although it is not a federal requirement. The exit interview is a tool used to educate our borrowers when it comes to the Perkins and University Loans. Included in the interview are Repayment Schedules, Rights and Responsibilities, Deferment and Cancellation options, and a Questionnaire. After completion of the interview each borrower should leave Penn State with a complete understanding of our policies and procedures and all of the benefits they might be eligible for.
